For the first time in South’s tennis history, two athletes from South will be playing in the #1 seed at State September 22nd. The Lock brothers played in regionals at South on September 17-18th. Andrew Lock placed 1st in #1 boy’s singles while Nikolas Lock placed 2nd in #2 boy’s singles. They both placed 1st on the podium and got gold medals. “Me and my brother have been playing tennis for 6 or 8 years. I was happy to get my first 1st place in my high school career. When playing at Regionals, I kept myself pumped during every point,” recalled Andrew Lock. Andrew was also an All-Conference team selection.
